Singapore Malayalee Association represents the 30,000
malayalees of Singapore and works towards the welfare
of Malayalees in Singapore. Here are some of the membership
benefits:
Exclusive use of SMA premises for private
events
With nominal rental fee, new multi-purpose hall will
be available exclusively for members use. Be it a
birthday party, University get together, rehearsal
for an upcoming program or even a company briefing!
The state of art multi-purpose hall can be used for
your private function. Priority wait lists, only for
members.
Discounted tickets for SMA programs
SMA extends extensive discounts (currently 20% for
the Onam Nite 2006) and priority seating for the members.
SMA is working with few other cultural organizations
to extend similar discounted tickets.
Priority Admission and discounted course
fees on SMA programs
SMA Members will be offered priority on the limited
number of cultural classes on language, fine arts
and other areas and will be given discounted course
fees.
Special discounts on Kerala Restaurants
SMA is working with few restaurants of Singapore in
providing discounts on meals. This feature is available
on selected restaurants and for selected meals only.
Discounted Airfare Programs
From time to time Singapore Malayalee Association
jointly offers airline discount programs to your travel
to home, Kerala.
Extensive use of SMA website for advertisements
Singapore Malayalee Association Members get an opportunity
to advertise on the newly revamped website at nominal
rates. Members can use the forum advertisement on
the website for free.
Unique invitation for Guest receptions
SMA organizes reception for Guests from Kerala (Cinema
and TV stars, ministers and other popular personalities
– some of the previous visitors to SMA include
Yesudas, Manju Warrier, Seema, Soorya Krishna Moorthi,
MM Hassan, etc.) and honours them. SMA members get
a unique opportunity to interact and spend time with
the distinguished guests of Singapore Malayalee Association.
Networking
SMA organizes regular social and cultural events,
which provides platforms to meet other malayalees.
SMA provides opportunities for families and specially
children to interact and get to know each other. Improves
family activities and even business relationships.
Members will receive membership cards, regular updates
on the association’s activities in the form
of a monthly newsletter and special group email updates.
