Bringing together all Malayalees in Singapore
The Singapore Malayalee Association (SMA) was founded in 1917, with the mission of bringing together all Malayalees in Singapore.
The objectives of SMA are:
- To integrate Malayalees in Singapore into a cohesive community
- To promote the interests and development of the Malayalee community in Singapore
- To engage the Malayalee community in activities spanning cultural, educational, professional, social, sporting, welfare and recreational arenas
- To preserve and propagate Malayalee heritage and culture
SMA Constitution
The constitution of an organization contains the fundamental principles which govern its operation. The bylaws establish the specific rules of guidance by which the group is to function.
